Customer Part of the Month

We are pleased to announce Customer Part of the Month!

Every Friday, employees at Markforged celebrate the end of the week by getting together and voting on internal parts that others have submitted. It gives people a chance to share parts they’re proud of, whether it be work-related parts, sentimental, or comical.

Markforged customers are continuously finding new ways to innovate with 3D printed parts. We’d like to open up this fun competition to our customers, and see the sorts of incredible parts they are creating. Whether it’s a prototype, workholding equipment, or an end-use part, we’d love for you to submit it.

Customers will have the chance to win a Markforged trophy and $150 Amazon gift card each month, as well as bragging rights.

All you need to do is head over to this page, add your name, email, company name, and any of your company’s social media handles. Then upload a photo with a short description of your part. The competition opens November 1st and closes November 20th, but will be running each month.

The best way to get your part noticed is to do any of the following:

• Take a photo of the part in use (not just on a white background), as it’s interesting to see the part it plays in your process
• Choose a part that is useful, not a toy. Suggestions include tools, fixtures, prototypes, and end-use parts
• Share the story of how the part helped you and your company achieve a goal. Instead of just saying “soft jaws”, explain why you decided to print them and the ways in which they have helped your business
• Use your company’s social media handles, as this competition will ultimately be judged on social media. Feel free to add your personal one too!
  

We’re looking forward to seeing all the incredible parts you make! And remember: the competition opens on November 1, so don’t upload your part until then! Any part submitted before November 1st won’t be eligible for the competition. You can only enter once each month, and your part can be several parts that create one large part.

We’ll be running these every month, so don’t worry if you don’t win! There will be plenty of opportunities for you to enter.
